pewoTherm 2–70 kW
Consumer units for decentralised domestic hot water heating and space heating
In each individual flat domestic hot water (DHW) is heated by a plate heat exchanger close to the tap when needed. The continuous flow principle guarantees highest DHW hygiene. The TFS temperature control system, developed by PEWO, guarantees a constant water temperature and instant availability. If the system is also used to heat rooms, room temperature and usage times can be programmed individually with a suitable controller. Heat meters and water meters can be integrated into the flat substation to record consumption data. If required, the data are recorded centrally, processed and sent to an accounting centre. Access to the flat is not required.

pewoTherm V
For central heating and decentralised domestic hot water heating
in apartments and business units
pewoTherm V is a heating substation with an integrated heating circuit and domestic hot water preparation by hygienic continuous flow principle and using a plate heat exchanger. The TFS closed loop controller keeps the water temperature constant. The high thermal length of the plate heat exchanger guarantees high tap output at low return temperatures. The heating circuit is supplied directly from the district heating system. A thermostatic valve is integrated in the heating circuit return. The heater can be turned off by an optional valve gear and a room temperature controller with a weekly program. The device is especially well-suited as a replacement for gas boilers. The connections to the district heating system and the water inlet are situated on top. All connections to the living area are situated at the bottom. All connections at the device can be closed by optional ball valves.
pewoTherm T
For central space heating and decentralised domestic hot water heating in apartment houses and industry units
pewoTherm T is a heating substation with up to two integrated heating circuits and domestic hot water preparation by hygienic continuous flow principle and using a plate heat exchanger. The TFS controller ensures a constant water temperature. The high thermal length of the plate heat exchanger guarantees high tap output at low return temperatures. A cold water outlet and circulation are optional extras.
The heating circuit is supplied directly from the heating system. A thermostatic valve is integrated to the heating circuit return. The heater can be turned off by an optional valve gear and a room temperature controller with a weekly program. A second mixed heating circuit for adjusting the heat flow temperature and a heating circuit manifold for floor heating can be integrated to the device as optional extras.
pewoTherm IDD
With indirect space heating and decentralised domestic hot water heating for apartment houses and industry units
pewoTherm IDD is a heating substation with an indirect heating circuit and domestic hot water preparation by the hygienic continuous flow principle and using a plate heat exchanger. The TFS controller keeps the water temperature constant. The high thermal length of the plate heat exchanger guarantees high tap output at low return temperatures. A plate heat exchanger separates the heating circuit from the heating system. The heating circuit is supplied by an integrated circulating pump. An optional expansion vessel for the heating circuit can be added on the left-hand side of the system. The flow temperature of the heating circuit can be controlled by a thermostatic TFS controller (fixed value) or by an electronic controller controlled by atmospheric conditions. pewoTherm IDD is integrated in a PST housing and is optimally suited for flats in large buildings and for micro heating systems.
pewoTherm 4L
4-riser system for space heating and domestic hot water heating
pewoTherm 4 L is a 4-riser consumer unit with integrated heating circuit and domestic hot water preparation by hygienic continuous flow principle and using a plate heat exchanger.
- the high thermal length of the plate heat exchanger guarantees high tap output at low return temperatures
- the TFS controller keeps the water temperature constant
- the device is connected to 2 flows with different temperature levels on the primary side
- each domestic hot water heating and space heating have a separate flow and return
- hot water heater (> 45 °C) and heating (graduated) can be supplied by different heat generators
- renewable heat generators, such as solar heat or heat pumps as well as condensing boiler technologies require low flow and return temperatures for efficient operation
- heating water with high flow temperature is exclusively made available for preparation of domestic hot water
- the heater can be turned off by an optional valve gear and a room temperature controller with a weekly program
- an optional second space heating circuit (e.g. for a heated towel rail) can be supplied by the high temperature flow

tfs – simple and ingenious
With the TFS – Thermo Fluid System PEWO's engineers have developed a highly responsive, robust and reliable solution for the temperature control process. Domestic hot water is always available at the tap at desired temperature and in desired amount. The TFS controller reacts immediately to changes in consumption and primary-side flow temperature fluctuations to keep the water at a constant temperature. A minimum number of movable components are the key to this robust and reliable thermostatic temperature control system. For design reasons the TFS controller does not contain components that increase pressure loss and have a negative effect on domestic water comfort. As a result, pressure loss in domestic water is reduced to a minimum.
